The Hobbit

I read this a few months ago and really enjoyed it. It is interesting and has a great plot. I would recommend it as a family read aloud, it is fun to listen to. 

It is about a hobbit who goes on a daring adventure with a group of dwarfs to a far off place in search of a stolen treasure. In order to reclaim the treasure, they have to survive encounters with bloodthirsty goblins, ferocious wolves, mysterious and mischievous elves, giant spiders and finally... their greatest challenge yet: the greedy and enormous dragon guarding the precious treasure. 

This book is definitely worth reading and is very enjoyable and suspenceful!
