The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo
This book is very adventurous and suspenseful. It is about a young mouse, a spool of thread and a rat. You should read it because it gives you a lot to think about.

lily, I read it and I think it's great! I liked how there were two worlds - the mouse and the human world. My favorite part was when despereax got his needle sword and set out on his quest. I didn't like the part of the father selling his daughter.

Hi Lilly, I read it too and enjoyed it. Thanks for the recommendation. It was a fun story - fun the way the author talked to the reader and fun to imagine life from the different perspectives.
