Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maude Montegomery

Anne is an orphan who comes to live with Matthem and Marilla Cuthbert. I like Anne because of her imagination and what she likes to do. She named a lake, "Lake of Shimmering Waters" and when we went camping, I named a pretty lake that name too. Anne makes silly mistakes sometimes, but they always are happy in the end.

Anne of Avonlea by by Lucy Maude Montegomery

Anne becomes a teacher, meets Mr. Harrison, improves Anvonlea with Diana - her best friend, and other people. I like these books. Miss Lavendar has a lovely home called Echo lodge where Anne, Diana and one of Anne's students, Paul Irving, like to go. I can't wait to read Anne of the Island.
