Meggie and her father, who she calls Mo, live in a large farm house in the country. They live a peaceful life full of books and memories until one strange day. Coming to Aunt Elinor's house for book binding turns into an adventure. Mo is taken captive by an evil villain, Capricorn. Soon all 4, including Dustfinger, the strange fire-breathing man, are away in Capricorn's dungeon cells. Mo tells of a cruel night where he was reading aloud and the characters came alive . . .

  1. I'm in the middle of Inkheart and its really suspenseful!

    I just finished it and loved it! What a fun, engaging story! A bit scary, suspenseful, but really makes you think of exciting possibilities.

    I liked the quotes from other books at the beginning of each chapter and I liked the characters. fun!
