Ridiculous! On the fateful day, Creel is sent to the brown dragon, but the dragon doesn't plan to eat her. After much thought, they come upon a deal. One thing from the dragon's shoe hoard for leaving the cave alive and telling the prince not to come. Creel looks through all his shapes and sizes of shoes and decides on some blue-green slippers that make her feel like she's walking on clouds. But as Creel finds her fortune in the Kings seat, she discovers secrets about the slippers that could either save the kingdom or destroy it. Creel wants to save Shardas, the gold dragon and all the rest of the dragons, but all of the kingdom thinks the dragons are horrible, terrible, fire-breathing creatures.

Dragon Slippers was really fun - an exciting story with interesting dragons and magic! Looking forward to meeting the author and reading the next in the series. I liked Creel and her determination - great character!
